A strategist in Seoul dabbled in Photoshop. 9 years later, he became a senior art director/creative lead at YouTube in New York.
Instead of creating ads, he tries to build a fan culture, product and trends people genuinely love. This approach helped Roblox create a game that generated millions of fan creations, YouTube brand get a quirky personality, Coachella achieve record-breaking viewership, and artists like Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift lead music industry trends. Coming full circle, his interactive campaigns with BTS, Blackpink, and NewJeans helped bring K-pop from Seoul into the global mainstream.
His journey down the rabbit hole continues because he keeps on dabbling in so many things. Unfortunately, it includes kayaking on America's most polluted river - the East River.
